Describe your role in 7 words.Recruiting the best technical talent for Axial. What was your most embarrassing screen name?My most embarrassing screen name was definitely my Myspace handle back in middle school; stanssosexyy. Being a genius name, some other Stan had already taken it and I had to pop an extra “y” onto the end. I actually completely forgot about it, but thanks to my and Kara’s fascination with Googling each other, it was unearthed.
If you could live at any time in history when would it be?Summer of Love - 1967 or the years during Prohibition in Atlantic City (Boardwalk Empire!!) What do you like to do in your free time?Quick backstory: I went to school at Rutgers, the fist-pumping capital of colleges. Due to that fact, I was exposed to the musical genre EDM a few years before it really blew up. Like every other eager house junky at the time I thought I’d give DJ’ing a shot, but it only took a few months for me to get bored of mashing up other artist’s material. That’s when I started messing around with a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) called Ableton Live to produce my own stuff. You can check out some of my tracks here: https://soundcloud.com/stanshch
Since you’re a Rutgers grad, what would you name your fat sandwich and what would it consist of?The Fat Delicious: Rotisserie chicken meat, caramelized onions, sweet potato fries, and BBQ Sauce.
What is your favorite 90s song? The Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy. Back in high school my group of friends and I would obnoxiously sing every word of it anytime it came on. It only took a year or so for everybody to stop playing it when we were around. Tell me about what Little Stan was like.Little Stan would have been a hit in modern day Williamsburg. My family actually moved to the US right around the same time that Ukraine was declaring independence from the former Soviet Union; a time when it was basically impossible to leave the country without refugee status. Fortunately for us we were Jews, one of the oldest living embodiments of the term refugee. Less fortunately, we had to give up our citizenship, and all of our possessions besides the clothes on our backs. Thus, during my younger years, I was outfitted in the finest of pass-me-downs. Long story short, I was wearing vintage tees before hipster-demand drove prices sky high.

We keep it simple - maybe one or two tracks a day, but you’ll no doubt find something you like and can can share, yourself.

What food reminds you of your childhood?Anything Cuban. Black beans and rice, pork, you name it. I grew up eating Cuban and it reminds me of summers I spent with my Abuelos. Now, I hit up Sophie’s when I’m homesick. If you had to throw a themed party - what would the theme be?Puppies and Champagne. I would just have a bunch of puppies brought in for everyone to play with and serve champagne. What is the best gift you’ve ever given?I gave my best friend a Harry Styles doll, last Christmas. Seeing a grown woman cry over a boy band doll made the gift all the more special. What’s the most surprised you’ve ever been?Definitely when I got engaged in November. My fiancée made me think we were going to a German Christmas market in Central Park and we were walking there around the reservoir (one of my favorite places in the city) he got on one knee and popped the question. It turns out there was no German Christmas market and instead he had our parents, family and friends surprise me at Penrose afterwards to celebrate. What a guy! What would your Real Housewives tagline be?I love the opening of the Real Housewives because it’s so ridiculous. If I were on the show, my opening line would definitely be “Sorry I’m not sorry.”Cats or dogs?Dogs. Specifically, bulldogs. I have a 3 year old English bulldog Kodi (also known as Kodibear).
